deps-tools-cli software package provides DEPS command-line tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install deps-tools-cli
deps-tools-cli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the deps-tools-cli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep deps-tools-cli *
You will get with deps-tools-cli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
